Abstract
Over time, the medical approach has shifted from a merely reactive to a proactive model. In this new model, four factors have been considered, such as “Predictive”, “Personalized”, “Preventive”, and “Participatory”, which were referred to as “P4 medicine”. With the expansion of this model, it has also been included in the dentistry field and created “P4 Dentistry”. However, this method faces criticism that it views patients only as a series of data, without considering their individual personalities. Hence, by adding three more Ps, such as population, psycho-cognitive, and public health, the P7 Medicine was created, which is more complete. However, due to the large amount of data, it seems that the incorporation of this model in the clinic is not feasible, but it is expected that this method can be performed in the clinic using Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology and can be applied clinically in the field of dentistry. This data can be shared with other colleagues, allowing the treatment to be carried out as a team for the patient.
