The aim of the Journal of Dentistry is to publish scientifically sound and clinically relevant research that contributes to the advancement of dentistry and oral health. The journal prioritizes studies that provide new insights into oral disease mechanisms, preventive strategies, diagnostic approaches, and therapeutic interventions.
The journal welcomes original research articles, systematic and narrative reviews, short communications, and clinical or laboratory-based studies in the following priority areas:
- Clinical dentistry, including restorative dentistry, prosthodontics, periodontology, endodontics, orthodontics, and oral and maxillofacial surgery
- Oral medicine, oral pathology, and oral radiology
- Preventive dentistry and community-based oral health research
- Dental public health, epidemiology, and health services research
- Dental materials and biomaterials with demonstrated relevance to clinical practice
- Interdisciplinary research linking dentistry with medicine and biomedical sciences
Submissions should demonstrate methodological rigor, ethical integrity, and a clear contribution to existing knowledge in dentistry. Manuscripts with well-defined research questions and implications for clinical practice or public oral health are given priority.
