Journal of Dentistry accept manuscripts only through the online submission system, which can be found at (https://dentjods.sums.ac.ir/contacts?_action=loginForm)
If you have NOT been registered in the journal, please click on “Register” and enter author's information and click “Save”. Then, check your e-mail for a message with your password, which you will need to login.

From any Journal page, click on the “Login” link in the upper right corner of your screen; then click on the “Forgot password?” link in the login box that appears. An email will be sent to the email address associated with your account with instructions for resetting your password.

Journal of Dentistry adheres to the guidelines for authorship set forth by International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE). All individuals who meet these criteria must be listed as authors on the manuscript title page and in the journal online submission system.

Submission and publication are free for international authors. For Iranian authors, the payment of fee is mandatory for all types of manuscripts sent to the Journal of Dentistry. To learn more about submission and publication fees, please refer to this link. Invited articles are exempt from the article charges.

• Assignment Form: Please note that the “Assignment of Copyright and Authorship Responsibilities Form” has to be signed and dated by all authors. This form can be accessed here: https://dentjods.sums.ac.ir/data/dentjods/news/Assingment_Form.doc


• Title Page Form: The title page should include the following information: 1) the title of the article (descriptive, 5–10 words); 2) authors’ names; 3) name of the institution where the work was done; 4) running title (short form of the main title presented on the top of published pages); and 5) complete mailing address, telephone number, and email address of the corresponding author. This page is not numbered.


• Conflict of Interest (COI) Form: All authors and reviewers are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest—financial, personal, academic, or political—that may influence their judgment. Authors are encouraged to complete the uniform disclosure form available at: ICMJE Conflict of Interest Form. Reviewers should also declare any potential conflicts before agreeing to evaluate a manuscript.

Once a paper is submitted to the journal, the corresponding author can track its progress through the online submission system of the journal.
