Journal of Dentistry is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal published quarterly by Shiraz University of Medical Sciences (SUMS). The journal aims to disseminate high-quality research that advances knowledge and practice in dentistry and oral health sciences.

The journal provides an academic forum for clinicians, researchers, and educators to publish ethically conducted and methodologically rigorous studies with clear relevance to dental science and clinical practice. Emphasis is placed on research that contributes to the prevention, diagnosis, and management of oral and dental diseases, as well as the improvement of oral health at both individual and population levels.
